The Atlanta Braves launched a partnership with CoolToday for the naming rights of their new spring training ballpark. The 20-year agreement includes scoreboard and dugout signage for CoolToday as well as exterior signage and promotional opportunities for additional events held at the facility.
Florida has been the home of Braves Spring Training for 96 of the last 103 seasons, including each of the last 73 springs since 1946. CoolToday Park is being developed by the Braves in partnership with Sarasota County, the City of North Port and West Villages/Mattamy Homes. Groundbreaking on the facility occurred back on Oct. 16, 2017, and the first full spring training season will happen in 2020.

For the past 22 seasons, the Braves called Disney World Complex their home. However, they built CoolToday Park to be closer to the other spring training venues in Florida. The Braves open with a spring training scrimmage against the Tampa Rays on March 24, 2019.
When it opens, the new spring training ballpark is expected to include 6,200 fixed seats, plus 1,000 berm seats. It will also feature some of the amenities found at many newer spring-training venues, including a 360-degree concourse and an outfield patio and bar area. Since the October 2017 groundbreaking, about 350 workers each day have labored to have the stadium ready for its first and only spring game of 2019. The cost of the project has now risen to $110 million.
